Entry for the Melbourne Cup contest in the Australian Voguettes group -- a coral-toned, retro-themed set with all the vintage goodies I'd love to see come back: parasols, gloves, cuban heeled seamed stockings and, of course, opera glasses.

This is a colour I'd never think to wear, and I don't think it'd suit my complexion, but on someone who has fair skin with pink undertones, or dark brown skin, I think it could be quite lovely.

I wanted a pillbox for this but couldn't find one that suited ..., and on second thought it would be too much, costumey instead of vintage-inspired.
